This Year the Queen Celebrates Her Jubilee celebrating her 70th year on the throne.

Millions up and down the country will holding street parties, get togethers, fetes, parades and exhibitions so what do you need to think about when planning your Jubilee Party?

How Should You Plan Your Jubilee Party?

This year is a very special year for Queen Elizabeth as she celebrates her 70th year on the throne.

As such, there will be celebrations all over the United Kingdom, and many people will be throwing their own private Jubilee Parties. If you're one of those people, then you need to make sure that your party is up to scratch! In this blog post, we'll discuss 8 things you need to consider when planning your Jubilee Party.

So, without further ado, let's get started!

The Type Of Jubilee Party

This might be obvious, you may have already decided on the type of party you will be having whether you have invited friends round for a Jubilee Tea Party or you and your neighbours are planning a Jubilee Street Party. If you have not decided on the type of party yet, consider what would be most appropriate for your neighbourhood and also what would be most enjoyable for everyone. It may be that you a company looking to hold a Corporate Jubilee Event or a school wanting to celebrate with the local community.

Once you have decided on the type of party, start planning the finer details.

Your Jubilee Party Budget

Next you should think about your budget. This is a very important factor in any party planning, and it's especially important for a Jubilee Party. You need to make sure that you have enough money to cover all of the costs associated with your party. This includes things like food, drink, decorations, and entertainment.

The Jubilee Party Guest List

Once you've sorted out your budget, the next thing you need to think about is the guest list. Who are you going to invite to your party? Make sure that you invite people who will really enjoy themselves and who will appreciate all of your hard work!

If you're planning a street party, then you'll need to think about how many people you can realistically invite. Remember, the more people you invite, the more food and drink you'll need, and the more space you'll need!

A Jubilee Party is a great opportunity to invite people from all walks of life, so don't be afraid to mix things up a bit.

The Jubilee Party Venue

Now that you know who you're going to invite and how many people you're going to invite, it's time to start thinking about the venue. If you're planning a street party, then you'll need to think about things like road closures and permissions.

If you're planning an indoor party, then you'll need to make sure that you have enough space for all of your guests. Remember, you'll need space for things like food and drink, as well as entertainment if you're having any.

The Jubilee Party Date

Once you've sorted out the venue, it's time to start thinking about when your party will be. The date of your party is important for a number of reasons. The obvious choice is the Bank Holiday Jubilee Weekend 2nd June to 5th June 2022 .

This is a great time to have a party, as most people will have the day off work and will be able to enjoy themselves. However, it's worth bearing in mind that this is a very popular time for parties, so you may need to book your venue well in advance.

Another option is to have your party on another date close to the Jubilee Weekend. This has the advantage of not being so busy, but the disadvantage of not being an official holiday.

It's up to you which date you choose, but bear in mind that the closer to the Jubilee Weekend, the more expensive things will be!

Jubilee Party Themed Decorations

Your Jubilee Party won't be complete without some themed decorations ! There are a few things you need to think about when it comes to decorations.

First of all, you need to make sure that your decorations are appropriate for the type of party you're having. If you're having a street party, then you'll want to decorate your venue with bunting and flags.

If you're having an indoor party, then you can be a bit more creative with your decorations. You could have Union Jack tablecloths, or centrepieces made from red, white, and blue balloons.

It's up to you how much you spend on decorations, but remember that less is often more!

Jubilee Party Food And Drink

No party is complete without food and drink! When it comes to food, you need to make sure that you have enough for all of your guests.

If you're having a street party, then finger foods are always a good option. Things like sandwiches, sausage rolls, and chicken nuggets are always popular.

If you're having an indoor party, then you could consider catering options such as a buffet or sit-down meal.

When it comes to drink, you need to make sure that you have enough for all of your guests. If you're serving alcohol, then make sure that you have plenty of soft drinks available too.

The Jubilee Party Entertainment

Last but not least, don't forget about entertainment! If you're having a street party, then there are a number of things you can do to keep your guests entertained.

You could have a DJ playing music, or hire a band to play some live music. You could also have a selection of games for your guests to enjoy.

If you're having an indoor party, then you could consider hiring a photobooth or setting up a selfie station.

No matter what type of party you're having, remember that entertainment is key!

Now that you've considered all of the important factors, it's time to start planning your Jubilee Party! With these tips in mind, you're sure to wow your guests and have a party that will be talked about for years!

At The Hungry Plaice we have recently introduced a new addition to our fleet Bessie a modern van specifically for certain corporate events which call for a modern van. This contemporary vehicle is equipped with a modern range fryer and will be able to cover long distances effortlessly, allowing us to continue to cater for clients even in far-flung locations! The decision to invest in this high-tech van was driven by the desire to preserve our beloved vintage vans, Betty and Beryl who aged 40 and 38 respectively need to do less travelling in order to keep them on the road for as long as we can. Betty and Beryl have been serving up delicious fish and chips for years, becoming icons of The Hungry Plaice's brand. They hold sentimental value that goes beyond their functionality as food trucks and customers had developed an emotional connection with these charming old-fashioned vehicles. Recognising this sentiment, we have decided it was time to protect Betty and Beryl from excessive wear and tear. By introducing the modern van for corporate events, The Hungry Plaice ensures that Betty and Beryl can get some well-deserved rest while still meeting the demands of commercial catering. The advanced features of the new van enhance efficiency making it easier for the business to accommodate large gatherings and operate in distant venues without straining their classic counterparts. Moreover, the modern van allows The Hungry Plaice to expand its reach into previously untapped markets. With its reliability over long distances, the company can now offer its renowned fish and chips experience at various events across different regions, attracting new customers who may have previously been out of range. Despite taking advantage of cutting-edge technology using this new vehicle, The Hungry Plaice remains committed to maintaining its traditional appeal. Betty and Beryl will continue delighting customers at weddings, private and some corporate events keeping alive the nostalgic charm that has become synonymous with The Hungry Plaice experience. The decision to incorporate a modern van alongside Betty and Beryl represents a balanced approach between preserving tradition and embracing innovation. As we embark on this exciting chapter of expansion The Hungry Plaice remains dedicated to delivering excellence in our services.
